Morgan Freeman Suffers Broken Arm & Shoulder Following Car Crash

Morgan Freeman is aforesaid to be in full spirits undermentioned a sober car crash on Sunday in which he stony-broke his sleeve and shoulder.


Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman Sergeant Ben Williams confirmed Freeman was convoluted in a wreck on Mississippi Highway 32, 6.4 kilometres (four miles) west of Charleston, near Freeman's home.



Charleston's Sun Sentinel editor Clay McFerrin reports Freeman's 1997 Nissan Maxima appeared to have been airborne earlier it left the highway and landed in a ditch. But he adds the actor remained in good hard drink despite being surrounded by emergency crews at the scene.


He says: "They had to use the jaws of life sentence to pull up him from the vehicle. He was lucid, conscious. He was talking, joking with some of the rescue workers at one point."


The 71-year-old's publicist has confirmed Freeman is suffering broken finger cymbals, but is expected to make a "good" recovery.
